A Birthday Party
Yesterday was my sister's tenth birthday, and my family had a big party at our house. In the morning, my mother baked a large chocolate cake with pink flowers on top. My father blew up colorful balloons and hung them all around the living room.
In the afternoon, all our cousins and neighbors came to celebrate. We played fun games in the garden, like hide-and-seek and a treasure hunt. Everyone sang happy birthday when my sister blew out the candles on her cake. She closed her eyes and made a wish before blowing them out.
After the games, my sister opened her presents. She got a new bicycle from our parents, a book from our aunt, and a puzzle from me. She was very happy and hugged everyone. In the evening, we ate cake and ice cream together, and everyone said it was the best birthday party ever.
